Earl Anthony, EIF Senior Coach
EIF Senior Coach, Earl Anthony is a life-long Marylander who resides in Arnold with his family. Earl comes to EIF with a background in industry, education and physical fitness.
After graduating from high school where he played football and wrestled, Earl attended Catonsville Community College. He also served a four-year apprenticeship through Koppers Company, earning a journeyman machinist certification. He continued his career as a model maker at Westinghouse. During this time Earl also worked as a rehabilitation assistant and taught various courses at both Catonsville Community College and Anne Arundel Community College.
When the opportunity to teach his specialized trade to high school students presented itself, Earl jumped at the chance. He has been teaching Precision Machining for over sixteen years in the Anne Arundel County Public School system. He earned his Standard and Advanced Professional Teaching Certificates and has mentored new teachers. For the past eight years, Earl has served as a department chairperson and continues to teach full time.
Earl's lifelong interest in health and physical fitness, as well as his involvement in sports as both a player and coach, led him to become certified in personal fitness training and in weight training consulting. In addition to being a certified personal trainer and member of the National Strength Professionals Association (NSPA), Earl is also certified in CPR and standard first aid. For the several years, he has worked as an EIF Professional Fitness Coach and enjoys educating and assisting his clients in obtaining their total fitness and overall health and wellness.
